Ghost Quilting Series - Block 12

I love my dogs!  I have two dogs, Argo, an Olde English Bulldogge and Rhino, my little Frenchie mix.  I think dogs ARE a lot like kids, insofar as mine are the cutest, sweetest, most frustrating out there 😆.  So this week I wanted to share the love of canines on this quilt block.  Although I love the bully breeds, I decided to do a Labrador as a silhouette because I think it is very recognizable and relatable.  But clearly, a person could totally use 100 more unique silhouettes to represent any kind of canine, cat, or even a pet pig.

In the mini border, I came up with this design, I'm dubbing fair ribbon, as I don't know what else to call it, and I was thinking about dog shows.  It's a half circle with an echo and a matchstick detail.  As a background fill I did a paisley filler design because it's so fun, and so are dogs 🐕🐩🐕‍🦺.
