Ghost Quilting Series - Block 14

Summertime BBQs are the best!  But I can smell Autumn in the air, here in Canada, we also BBQ whenever the grill isn't completely buried in snow.  So this block is dedicated to all those grill masters and those kitchen gurus.  I personally really enjoy cooking different food, and I have been on a little mission to cook a meal from every country in the world... Alphabetically.  I found this amazing website, "Global Table Adventure," and have been working my way through the meals slowly.  It takes a long time to source some of the ingredients, as I live in a pretty small town, but so far I've done the As and am working through the Bs. I've been at this for 4 years 🌍😆🌎🤪🌏

Ghost Quilting Series Block 14 - VIDEO

For the mini border, I did a type of free-motion zig-zag design that I used to use a lot in years past and though I should revisit it.  This design does take a minute to wrap your head around, but once you get in the flow, it goes really fast and is good for borders and sashing.  As a background filler, I used a design by Leah Day called Coffee Bean (watch her video here).
