Ghost Quilting Series - Block 15

This is the second-to-last quilt block of this Ghost Quilting Summer Series.  Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about those anglers out there.  Fishing is such a wonderful and enjoyable pastime for so many people.  Not to make too much fun of people, but have you seen those funny reels by some quilters where they hold up their quilt blocks like how guys hold up fish 🤣🤣🤣 Here are a couple of links if you want to see what I'm talking about: video one and video two

Ghost Quilting Series Block 15 - VIDEO

For this block, I just had to try and do some fish scales in the mini border.  And back to my favourite place with pebble pop as a background filler! 

I was lucky enough to grow up with grandparents and parents who were avid anglers... this allowed me a ton of time to read, hahahaha.  I did catch my fair share of fish as a child and young person, but I did get pretty bored sitting on the boat and trolling for days on end.  The best part, in my opinion, is when we would beach the boat and Granny would wrap a couple of fish in some grass and bake the fish under a hot fire, we kids would go find some berries in the bush, and Mom would slice up whatever else we had on the boat.  One of the best lunches you can have, in my opinion.
