Ghost Quilting Series - Block 16
Sep 24, 2025
This is the final block of the Ghost Quilting Series! And I bet you think I forgot that men who love cars, but I didn't! I used a sports car in my block, but this could easily be modified to represent a 4x4 or a classic car. I had a sports car when I was 19 years old, it was a 1988 Mazda RX-7 with a rotary engine. It was a super fun, fast street car, but now I drive a little Jeep Renegade so I can go off-road. Funny how we go through stages in our lives, I suppose I'm reflecting because my birthday is a couple of days away, and summer is over 😢.

In this final block, I did a kind of cross-hatch in the mini border and added a matchstick detail, this looked like a race car flag to me. And as a background fill, I went with some gear shapes with an echo. I think this was a winning combination.
This is the last video of this series, and I'm going to take a little break for my birthday and then be back to some custom content for the winter season. This has been a super busy summer, and I suppose I am grudgingly ready for some sweater weather, a bowl of soup, and a latte ☕. Thanks so much for following along with this series, and I look forward to the last bit of 2025.
If you found any value in this series, please feel free to buy me my first Autumn Latte
