Ghost Quilting Series - Block 7
Jul 23, 2025
Okay, I know I missed Father's Day, but in my defence, it was my daughter's grad, and my 19th wedding anniversary as well. So I am a little late on the uptake, but most of the important men in my life are fathers, and I know how much it means to me to be a mother, so I can appreciate what it must mean to them, too. So here is to all the male figure caregivers, fathers, step-fathers, uncles, grandads, and anyone else in a guardian role to a child 💖 I truly appreciate what my dad and many other dads have done for me in my life.
Ghost Quilting Series Block 7 - VIDEO
In the mini border of this quilt, I decided to stitch a zig-zag and then fill in one side with a matchstick detail. This created a cool triangle design that I think is really cool. As a background fill, I decided to go with concentric circles. I'll let you in on a secret, after the bull rider dibacale, I knew I had to try something completely different because this silhouette had a lot of detail too. I think this looks so much better! I think it's the contrast between the simple, clean filler and the more complex ghost image. Let me know what you think in the video comments.
Thanks so much for watching. Also, I love you, Dad.
