Grid Quilting Block 10
Aug 05, 2026Remember back to block 7 when I did that simple dot-to-dot design? Well, this is kind of similar. It may not appear so, but the reality is I'm using the same marks on my ruler and going from dot-to-dot in a different formation to create this design, which I think I shall call Deco Tree.

To make this look a little more like a tree next time, I would use a 'C' shape design to replace the matchstick. I think this would look a little more organic and give the triangle more dimension.

This design could also be stitched horizontally and become arrows... I might explore more spinoff designs from this one. Because of the dot-to-dot nature of the foundation, this design was actually pretty fast and easy to stitch.
