Grid Quilting Block 8

This week I'm stitching a design I call Interlocking Squares. This design appears so simple to stitch in the video, and it is. But for some reason, I struggled while doing it 🤣 I honestly think I'm going to have to give this another shot and see if maybe I was having a hard day or if it does take more brain power than it appears.
I was originally going to fill in some of this design with some matchsticks, but decided last-minute not to. I thought the design looked fairly complete, but from this side of the keyboard, I'm realizing I probably should have added in the matchstick design to stay within the theme of this series... Either way, I didn't do it, and I still like it. I will be using this design in the future, but I think maybe I might add some kind of mark so I don't get too lost next time. I can see this being stitched on a postage stamp quilt with a lot of success.
